Drop off Events/Parties
Drop off catering includes delivery and basic set up. For first time customers, we offer free delivery. Other delivery fees generally minimal based on location. This fee does not include setting up tables, linens or any other rentals for function. Please let us know if you will need additional services for your drop off events; we are happy to accommodate.
Food Minimums
Please note on weekends, there is a $500 food minimum drop off or pick up.
Staff Minimums
Staff time will be charged based on actual hours worked, including set up, break down and 1/2 travel time for distances over 8 miles. There is a 5 hour minimum.
We require for all staffed parties a minimum of 2 staff billed for a 5 hour minimum as well as a $1,000 food minimum. This 2 staff minimum does not include a bartender. Something Savory will recommend staff for each individual party. We choose quantity of staff based on guest count, duration of party, and difficulty of set up and breakdown and proposed meal.
Liquor Liability
We offer Liquor Liability Insurance to clients who hire our bartenders. Liability insurance does not cover bars that are without a trained Something Savory bartender (drop offs, self serve bars or clients friends/family bartender).
Special Diets
Something Savory prides ourselves on our ability to accommodate most dietary needs. We are continually working to create menus for those with special diets.
- Please ask if you’d like guidance on ordering special menus
- We are experts in gluten-free diets and have a gluten-free partner for baked goods
- We are happy to accommodate low sodium diets
- We do not use nuts in 99% of our food preparation (unless requested)
- We can provide kosher meals with 48-hour notice
- We offer full range of vegetarian and vegan options (please ask for special menu)
Going Green
Something Savory is committed to making the most of our limited natural resources and preserving the environment for future generations. As such, we are committed to an environmentally responsible approach to our business. We encourage local commerce and sustainability, and wherever possible, seek to limit our carbon footprint by sourcing products used in our catering from Massachusetts.
Presently, the majority of our disposable packaging is made from either a corn or sugar-based product. At client’s request, we provide recycling bins to be available at your event and we will pick up your recyclables.
We can arrange for left over food and floral arrangements to be rescued and donated.
